Principle of Manual Handling
This course is a perfect introduction and first step to health & safety for all grades of staff (and may be used towards NVQ accreditation). However, it cannot replace individual coaching for high-risk manual handling tasks. Whilst the course can be delivered as a stand-alone qualification, and there are no prerequisites, it is strongly recommended that participants already hold the CIEH Basic health & safety Certificate.
