Staying Alive

Have you seen the great video clip of Vinnie Jones demonstrating CPR with the British Heart Foundation? We loved it.

So, if you were to come across a road accident, or have a friend or relative collapse in front of you, following Vinnie's advice could save their life. However, the Gold standard and laid down by the British Heart Foundation would always recommend mouth to mouth and chest compressions. Don't forget:

  • Phone 999
  • Administer CPR
  • Don't stop until the paramedics arrive

5th September 2011:

Pilning Surgery Support Group:

I was invited to give a talk to the Pilning Surgery Support Group. The turnout from the community of Pilning was overwhelming. During the evening I presented the group with the New Resuscitation (2010) Guidelines as well as other First Aids topics. The evening concluded with a collection for my chosen charity NSPCC. I am delighted to announce they raised £104.36 for the NSPCC.
