When you are involved in an emergency situation – a relative or friend suddenly collapses in front of you, or you unexpectedly come across a road accident – your first instinct is to want to help. But how to help and what to do for the best? Without good training in First Aid or Resuscitation how can we know what to do to help the casualty and have the confidence to deal with a sometimes frightening and chaotic situation? There is nothing more frustrating than wanting to help yet not knowing what to do.

The staff at First Response recognise these fears and appreciate the value of training for emergency situations – indeed, all of the tutors have many years of experience doing exactly that as ‘front-line’ members of the NHS Ambulance Service. We can not only offer excellent training packages that will give you the knowledge and skills to treat and care for patients suffering sudden illness or injury, but we add to these the benefits of our own first-hand experience to provide all of our clients with the skills and confidence to give the best care possible to the casualty.

Our training is based on real-life situations, not just those from a text-book.

This is not just Training for Life – it is truly Training to Save a Life!
